In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Two minutes from the station — Pisa Centrale is almost on the doorstep, making arrivals and departures effortless, and the airport is easy to reach by train.
  • Walk to the Leaning Tower — The famous tower is a manageable walk — around 15 to 25 minutes — so you can see the sights without a taxi or bus.
  • Clean and comfortable rooms — Guests describe rooms as spotless and nicely styled, with comfortable beds and working air conditioning.
  • Helpful, friendly staff — The team is regularly singled out for being accommodating and responsive to requests.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Rooms score marks lower than location — The guest rating for rooms and cleanliness is 6 out of 10, while the location scores 8. Some rooms are small, and the bathroom in at least one case is compact.
  • Breakfast can feel crowded — The breakfast room has been described as too small for the number of guests, and at least one review found the breakfast itself disappointing.
  • No on-site parking — There is no private parking; guests travelling by car are directed to public parking nearby, which may fill up in high season.
  • Pets are not allowed — The hotel does not accept pets, so if you're travelling with a dog or cat, you'll need to look elsewhere.

“The breakfast had nice coffee and pastries. The rooms were nicely styled and spotlessly clean, with twin beds and a balcony. Staff were really helpful. The location was perfect and peaceful, close to shops, bars, the train station, the Arno, and Borgo Street.”

“I'd recommend it for the price and quality.”

7Verified guest

“It's very close to the train station and the main pedestrian route through town, making it a great choice for a quick visit when you want to walk around and then leave by train.”

7Verified guest

“The hotel is very well located: just a 5-minute walk from the central station, so it's easy to reach from the airport. The Leaning Tower area is only a 15-minute walk away.”

7Verified guest

“Great location, clean rooms, and helpful staff.”

“This was the last stay on a week-long trip through France and Italy, and it was the best value for money of the whole holiday. We paid €71 for a double room with breakfast. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was small but efficient. Breakfast was good, though the breakfast room was a bit cramped when the hotel was busy, but the staff did their best and offered hot chocolate and espresso on request. The location near the station, buses, and taxis was ideal for our one-night stop before seeing the Leaning Tower. There was little or no noise from the street. A café between the station and the hotel served an excellent tiramisu and espresso at a very competitive price.”
